Order and arrangement have been imposed by the Archivist to provide context to reflect its functions as the representative body of Australian Jewry and for future research. Please note: that this series of records was dispersed throughout the consignment. The papers have been arranged chronologically within each x File and correspondence have been included in this series during the appraisal process in order to retain order and context for future use. There might be missing correspondence in some x Files with no continuity with the subject matters but x Files were not culled and correspondence within each x File was retained. Includes item nos. 33 and 108 relating to pre, during World War Two and immediate post-World War Two period
