Item DescriptionA booklet describing the Dedication of the Temple Beth Israel War Memorial Centre, that is dated for 19th-21st June 1959. The Booklet contains a short history of Temple Beth Israel and the establishment of the congregation in Melbourne from the 1930's. The Booklet also contains messages written by Rabbi H.M Sanger, Mr E.N Marks (President of Temple Beth Israel St Kilda), Dr I.C Harlem (President of Temple Beth Israel Eastern Suburbs), Mr J. Abraham (President Temple Beth Israel Southern Liberal Congregation), Mrs R.A Samuel (President Temple Women's Guild), Mr R.A Samuels (Chairman Building Committee Temple Beth Israel), Mr L Jacobson (Chairman Building Fund Committee Temple Beth Israel). The Service programs and Order of Service for the Dedication of the Temple are included in this Booklet, and are dated for Friday 19th June 1959, Saturday 20th June 1959, Sunday 21st June 1959. At the end of the Booklet are lists of Board Management, Trustees, Temple Council, and other relevant titled roles of the congregation.
