Series DescriptionColour and black and white photographs of the congregation showing events, functions, bar mitzvahs etc. Some names appear at the back of photographs but most cannot be identified. No specific events are mentioned, includes photo of founder and first president Nathan Haneman; events such as Melbourne Cup luncheons; Seder; matzo bake; bar mitzvah & bat mitzvah rehearsals; marriages; 50th wedding anniversary of Jeff & Ilse London; bbqs; cheder production and albums compiled by Fel Prentice from beginning to end of Rev Myers Era to the Great Fire at Allawah and appointment of Rabbi Feldman. Note that is collection contains some newspaper cuttings, newsletters and other ephemera that correspond with the photographs which in turn, cannot be separated in order to retain their context and order. Photographs were loose or glued in the photo albums and have been removed and resleeved into photographic sleeves and placed in order together with its related material
