Item DescriptionLarge historical photographic collection of North Shore Temple Emanuel. Collection includes photos of NSTE building decorations and renovations, functions and ceremonies. A large majority of the collection are photographs of families, members and important individuals connected with North Shore Temple Emanuel. Some important events in the history of NSTE documented by these photographs include but are not limited too; Rev Schwarz's inauguration with Rabbi Brasch in 1963, the 1980 Rally held at Russian Consulate, the Ron Sinclair Walk in 2006 and the opening of the new renovated sanctuary in 2010. The collection also contains what is believed to be the only existing photo of the original tapestry that was in the North Shore Temple Emanuel foyer.
