The memoir includes George Bluth's origins in Germany, his time in Australia and the war, his marriage, family, career and travel. Also includes a handwritten journal by George Bluth that is around six pages long. The Memoir contains newspaper articles published by The Sun in 1938 mentioning George Bluth and his brother titled "Jews From Germany Given Permit to Settle" and includes a large number of photographs of George and his family. George served in the Australian Military Forces during the Second World War from March 1942 to June 1946.
