Series DescriptionThe collection are demographic reports also known as census of the Jewish Community. It shows the demographic profile of the Sydney Jewish Community covering size of the population; under-enumeration such as funeral records, Bar Mitzvah records, place of birth; size of the population such as migration, natural increase; and characteristics of the population such as age distribution, families with dependent children, educaitonal facilities, eastern and norhern suburbs and geographic distribution of the elderly; Jewish education etc. The census are arranged by year between 1964-2020.
