Series DescriptionThese papers were created or gathered in the capacity of his role as National President of B'nai B'rith Australia, which are not available in the collective B'nai B'rith Archives. These specific papers and items were selected for long-term preservation as evidence of activities such as set precedent for events; supported specific facts; involvement with communities and organisations; representations at events; discussions on particular matters and establishment of youth groups that are no longer functional. The papers cover 2002 - 2013 and deals with North Shore B'nai B'rith Young Adults (BBYA); restricted papers dealing with disciplinary notes in regards to Ron Sinclair and Herzog Gerstl; Anti-Defamation Commission (ADC), the resignation of the ADC Board, establishment of a new ADC Board & its separation from B'nai B'rith altogether; B'nai B'rith Retirement Village setup in Queensland; establishment of Jews for Ethnic Tolerance or JET; various ephemera such as newspaper clippings on B'nai B'rith; invitations to Chinese community functions, of which there was high involvement, invitations to installation dinners; ritual booklets; members directory lists; membership survey; establishment of B'nai B'rith Unit in Canberra; pamphlets and revision of various B'nai B'rith publications, etc. Also transferred were audio-visual CD's of B'nai B'rith events and functions such as overseas visit to Washington for the presentation of the Presidential Gold Medal to the Honorary John Howard, Prime Minister of Australia in 2006 & controversy, including program of presentation; Gold Medal Dinner for Lindsay Fox 2011; 20th & 30th Anniversary of North Shore Kadimah Unit; installation ceremonies; dinner dances; conferences and conferences; photographs at B'nai B'rith conventions; B'nai B'rith Ausimed, now defunct, research between Israel and Australia etc. Box numbers are prefixed with ID
