Maurice Isaacs, a lawyer by profession, was active in the leadership of the Jewish community in the 1940s and 1950s, especially in the Young Men's Hebrew Association and B'nai B'rith. His papers represent those interests and include annual reports and papers of the Y.M.H.A. 1929-53, and copies of his own contributions to the Australian Jewish Forum 1941-48
