Author(s) Carol Bunyan Abstract121 men and youths, nearly nine per cent of Dunera internees who left Australia during the war, went to Palestine. This paper provides an outline of those departures and a sketch of fragments of the lives of some of those involved. In doing so it shows that, even among the minority religious or Zionist groups, there is no one Dunera story.
