Author(s) Steve Schach AbstractThe core of the library of the Great Synagogue in Sydney consists of some 4,000 books purchased from Rabbi Leib Falk in 1954 for 3,000 pounds. The vast majority of these works are written in Hebrew, some in Yiddish and a few in German or Latin. During 2014, as a first step in constructing a catalogue for the non-English books, the librarian photographed the title pages of 1,112 books. This was part of an e-bibliographic and e-historiographic case study. An important aspect of this was the gathering of detailed information on every book and its author .
