Author(s) Colin Choat AbstractA biography of Lewis Lipman, who came to Australia as part of the bounty scheme introduced in 1830. He arrived in Sydney in 1841, and would go on to become president of the Hebrew Mutual Benefit Society, secretary of the Jewish Denominational School in Sussex st., and active in the Sydney and Macquarie Street synagogues.
