Author(s) Nate Zusman AbstractFreedman was the first ordained Jewish minister in the Western Australia colony. He was born in Hungary in 1874 and educated in London. He was Orthodox but liberal-leaning. He was also headmaster of the Perth Hebrew School. He was awarded an OBE in 1936.
