Author(s) Paul Bartrop AbstractBook Review: Rubinstein's thesis is relatively straightforward. In spite of the enormous corpus of material which has evolved (particularly over the past two decades) asserting that the Allies either did nothing to assist Jews facing annihilation at the hands of the Nazis between 1933 and 1945, or actively abetted the Nazis in their genocidal activities, Rubinstein argues that the evidence on the contrary points to an enormously successful program of rescue the likes of which was unprecedented in both scope and effectiveness.
