Author(s) Louise Rosenberg AbstractA brief biography of Selig, who was born 1856 in Victoria, to Reverend Abraham Benjamin Selig. The Selig family relocated to Wellington and Phineas had a distuinguished journalistic and editorial career in the NZ press. He was also President of the Canterbury Hebrew Congregation. Selig died in 1941.
