AbstractUsing the 1966 Commonwealth census, Lippmann demonstrates that the post-WWII growth in Australian Jewry has significantly slowed, and its birth rate is unsufficient to keep population steady. In addition, Jewish Australians, more of them now native-born, are losing their immigrant character, and rates of intermarriage are rising.
