Author(s) George F. J. Bergman AbstractSketches the life of A Cohen early settler and parliamentarian, who was born in London in 1812, arrived in Sydney 1834, and died in Sydney 1861. Cohen settled in Maitland and opened a general store, before moving to Sydney in 1840 and becoming a prominent member of the Jewish community there.
