Australian Jewish Historical Society Journal, 4, 3 (1955)

Author(s) AbstractThis essay deals with four of the five men who have served the New South Wales Board of Jewish Education or its predecessor, the Sydney Jewish Education Board, as Headmasters. It does not take into account those various gentlemen who were headmasters of the series of day schools which ceased to function in the 'eighties. Nor does it concern itself with Louis Pulver, whose activities have already been covered in papers delivered before the Society." Four figures remain for consideration-Hyman Isaacs, Maurice Abraham A Cohenbraham Rothfield, and Rev. Caesar Stanton.
