Author(s) Marise Cohen AbstractI am dealing to-night; for it was certainly this spirit of practical benevolence which led to the formation in London of a Jewish "Emigration Committee" about the middle of the last century. The aims of the Emigration Committee were to foster and implement Jewish (particularly female) emigration to this colony of Australia, as it was then.
