Authority Biography/Administrative HistoryEarle Hoffman was a member of B'NAI B'RITH from 1982, Hoffman was an active board member for 25 years during his membership. During this membership he worked on making B'NAI B'RITH an active company which hosted many memorial events, communial ceremonies, as well as hosting holiday events. Hoffman was also an influential member of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, where they worked with the government to allow for the wider Jewish community to be recognised by the public in positive light. Hoffman worked with the ECAJ for many years as a general member, vice president and president, before in later years being awarded with honorary life membership.

Consignment 2 B'nai B'rith papers belonging to Earle Hoffman OAM which came into the possession of Peter Wertheim. 4 x marbig type boxes were collected from Peter Wertheim's Office. 

Original storage area of acquisition will be reflected at the item level so as not to conflate the original donors of the records
