Author(s) Phillip Masel AbstractThe very large crowd that gathered at the graveside to pay a last tribute to Rabbi David Isaac Freedman testified to the success of his life's labours. Diversified were those labours, and sincere was that testimony. The representatives of the various Churches proved the success of his efforts to break down. the traditional insularity-whether enforced or self-ordained matters not here which has been characteristic of so many Jewish spiritual leaders.
