BiographyDavid Leon Frank Bornstein was born in Melbourne in 1940. He was a journalist for 10 years before being elected to parliament. He married Judith Swift, a fellow member of the ALP in 1965. Their son is Josh Bornstein, an advocate for the union movement. Mr. Bornstein resigned his seat in 1975 after serving for 5 years.
